Implementation of the Rotterdam Convention in the Republic of Belarus

We are glad to welcome you on the website devoted to the issues of conducting domestic preparations for the Republic of Belarus to join the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides.

The main purpose of the site is to familiarize interested government agencies, scientific institutions, enterprises and organizations, as well as the public, with information about the Rotterdam Convention, industrial chemicals and pesticides regulated by the Convention, as well as current developments in chemical safety.

We hope that this information resource will help to build and strengthen the capacity of those concerned, exchange information necessary for the implementation of the Rotterdam Convention.
